Steps for Adding a dash-let to dashboard
The above dashboards are a great start. But what if you need some other dashlets as well? Given below are the steps that can help you customize SuiteCRM home page.
Navigate to SuiteCRM homepage and click on SuiteCRM dashboard “Actions” button and Click on Add Dashlets from the drop-down.
Which will navigate below page and select the module you want to show on the dashboard from the modules tab.

Creating your own reports
Great. So we have learnt about having dashlets. Now lets look at reports. Within the CRM, a real estate agent can create their own reports and can display them on the SuiteCRM dashboard. We are listing the Steps for creating a report.
- Navigate to “Reports” module and click on “Create Report”.
- Enter the report name, Select the module, enter the value for charts per row and select fields, specify condition and add chart and click on save.
Example of creating a “Report” which displays total listings present based on listing status.
Enter the name, and select the module and charts per row etc., as mentioned in below image,
In fields tab select the module from “Module tree” and select fields to be displayed in the Report.
Navigate to charts tab and click on “ADD CHART” and enter the details like chart name and select chart type, X Axis, Y Axis fields.
And click on “Save”.
Below is the report which displays listings based on “Listing Status”.
Adding report to dashboard
Navigate to SuiteCRM homepage and click on “ACTIONS” drop-down and from modules section select “Reports” module.
Click on “Edit” button of reports dashlet and select the Report you want display on the dashboard and click on “Save”.
Note: We can show the charts on dashboard only if “Only show charts” field is enabled and chart is selected from the Charts filed else only Report will be displayed on the dashboard.
